Discover the nature of the Pyrenees... on the hiking trails of the Natural Parks of Andorra
In Andorra you will find three protected Natural Parks, to enjoy hiking routes, both with the family and for the most expert mountaineers:
The Madriu Valley Natural Park, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2004, offers hiking trails of various levels.
The Sorteny Natural Park, located a short distance from the hotel and the Ordino-Arcalís ski resort, offers a Natural Park for everyone: a botanical garden, picnic areas, hiking trails for all levels and a remodeled refuge in 2013.
The Comapedrosa Valleys Natural Park is the most demanding for lovers of hiking trails: among its routes it includes the one that leads to the Comapedrosa Peak, the highest in Andorra. Halfway along this route you will find a shelter where you can rest. You cannot miss the fauna and flora of this Natural Park (hundreds of species of butterflies, for example), nor the traces of transhumance in the form of grazing buildings along the park routes.
Ask at the hotel reception about the hiking trails in Ordino: we know our natural parks well.
